History
I found this car in Los Angeles, CA and purchased in November 2024.
The Dino was a partnership between Ferrari and Fiat. Ferrari wanted to homologate their new 2L V6 for formula 2 racing. To do so, 500 production cars per year had to be built and Ferrari wasn’t prepared for that scale. Ferrari turned to Fiat to build a coupe and spider using the Ferrari engine.
The following from the previous owner provides some history about this specific car: The car has been a northern California car its entire life. The previous owner was a lady Marilyn Potts, who bought it with her husband from a well-known collector in Carmel-by-the-sea known as Dennis Levett in 1994. Dan and Marilyn Potts owned a European mechanic shop called Eurosport and this was their baby. Unfortunately, in around 2005 Dan passed away in a motorcycle accident and the car wasn’t driven much since.
